RU Denied NCAA Bid, Declines WNIT

The season ended for Rutgers officially on March 12 when the team did not secure an invitation to the NCAA Tournament despite wins over several Tournament-bound teams.  The team declined an opportunity to play in the WNIT Tournament, which it won in 2014.  Rutgers Head Coach C. B1G 10 Tourney sees RU lose to Champs Ohio State

Several dozen Cagers and RU fans watched live as Rutgers topped Purdue 62-60 on a jumper by Tyler Scaife with 4 seconds left in the game in their second round game at the B1G 10 Tournament in Indianapolis on Thursday, March 1.  Scaife, who finished with 19 points, passed RU legend Cappie Pondexter to move into second place on the RU scoring chart.  Victoria Harris added 11 points, and Caitlin Jenkins had 5 blocked shots in the game.  The reached 20 wins on the...

RU Drops Regular Season Finale at Northwestern

Rutgers dropped its season finale with a loss at Northwestern, 63-50, to finished the regular season at 19-11 and the B1G 10 season at 7-9 heading into the B1G Tournament on February 28. RU faces Purdue on Thursday at noon.

Tyler Scaife scored 17 points and Stasha Carey had 10 in the loss.  KK Sanders, back in action, notched 6 assists and Caitlin Jenkins led the rebounding with 8 off the bench....

Iowa Defeats RU on Senior Night as Scaife Scores 30

Despite an 11-point lead and being ahead with 4 minutes left in the game, Rutgers lost to Iowa 77-67 in overtime on Wednesday, leaving the RAC with a sad loss on a Senior Night that saw Tyler Scaife pour in 30 points in front of family and friends. Caitlin Jenkins hauled down 10 boards to lead Rutgers. No other Knight scored in double figures for the game. RU Snaps Skid with Home Win Over #13 Michigan

Rutgers snapped a four-game losing streak with a solid home win over Michigan, 63-56, on February 4.  RU had dropped its most recent contests against Penn State, Nebraska (only home loss of the season), at Indiana and at Maryland.  The vistory over the #13 Wolverines brings the RU season record to 18-7, with a 7-4 B1G Conference mark.  CC Cryor led RU in scoring with 16, followed by Stasha Carey with 12 points and Caitlin Jenkins again pulling down double digi...

Heartbreak in Happy Valley As RU Loses to Penn State

RUWBB suffered a tough road loss at the hands of the Lady Lions on January 18, 70-67.  After trailing by as much as 12 points, the Knights fought their way back in the 4th quarter and took a 67-66 lead in the final seconds before a foul and technical were called on RU and Penn State pulled out the victory at the free throw line.  Stasha Carey recorded her second straight double-double, with 11 rebounds and 10 points, and had a career high six steals.  KK Sande...

RU Maintains Perfect Record at RAC

With a 80-70 overtime win over Minnesota at the RAC on January 13, Rutgers remains undefeated at home with a 12-0 record.  The victory put #21 RU at 17-3 on the season and 4-1 in the B1G 10 Conference.  RU got offensive firepower from leading scorer Tyler Scaife, with 25 points, and a double-double from Stasha Carey, with 23 points on 8-11 shooting and 14 rebounds. Scaife was homored pre-game for reaching her 2000 point earlier in the week in a road loss to Purdue....

The Big Ten Women's Basketball Conference Tournament is scheduled for February 28 - March 4, 2018 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana. Tournament tickets are now available for purchase through the Rutgers box office. Rutgers has an allotment so if everyone wants to sit together it would be best to purchase through us. B1G 10 Wins Continue for RU

Rutgers knocked off Illinois and Penn State in January to improve to 16-2 on the season and maintain an unbeaten 4-0 B1G 10 Conference record.  Those victories extend the RUWBB streak to 11 wins in a row.
