The Scarlet Knights topped the century mark in a beautiful victory over in-state opponent Fairleigh Dickinson, 101-35. Tyler Scaife scored 25 points in just 18 minutes, Caitlin Jenkins had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds in 13 minutes, CC Cryor played 15 and scored 15, and the team had 9 3-pointers and shot 50% for the game. Glenys Jayne Manfre celebrated her first day in heaven on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017.
Glenys was born Feb. 2, 1954, in Wilkes-Barre. She graduated from GAR High School in 1972 and received an associate's degree in general science in 1974 from Luzerne County Community College, after which she attended King's College for another two years.

The Scarlet Knights continued their winning streak with a home victory over the Virginia Cavaliers, 52-43 on December 4 at the RAC. RU is now 8-2 on the season. Tyler Scaife again led the team in scoring with 22. Stasha Carey finished with 9 points - including a trey - and 9 rebounds, and Victoria Harris had a strong game with 6 rebounds and 5 points in 25 minutes on the court. After losing 2 of 3 games on the road in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Florida last week, Rutgers bounced back to take two straight wins in the friendly confines of the RAC with victories over NC State on Thursday and Siena on Saturday, 59-47. Rutgers improves its season record to 7-2, surpassing last season’s win total of just 6 games in the first few weeks of the season.

Rutgers traveled to James Madison on Friday, November 10 and came out with a 76-63 win behind 26 points from Tyler Scaife. Jazz Rollins added 10 points and newcomer Caitlin Jenkins hauled down 14 rebounds in the victory. Everyone played in the contest and nearly everyone scored. Our Welcome Back Huddle is scheduled for Sunday, 11/19/17, @ 4:45 PM prior to RU WBB vs Wake Forest @ 6:30 pm. The cost of the huddle will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members. The menu will include a variety of gourmet sandwiches, salads, chips, desserts and drinks. We will also have our Tricky Tray table.
